The site I need help with is healthylifepress2018.wordpress.com.

While updating plugins, all of a sudden I get a messaging saying critical error. Please help! And I don’t know all the technical lingo, so please put your replies in layman’s terms. Dummy it down for me. Thanks!

Hi there,
Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. We’re only able to help with sites hosted on our servers at WordPress.com.
What most likely happened is that one of your plugins became corrupted while it was installing an update. To fix this, you’ll need to disable the specific plugin directly in the database, or delete the plugin’s files from your server. Access to those are controlled by your hosting provider, so you’ll need to contact their support directly for help.
Please ask the WordPress.org community for more advice on this. They provide support for the version of WordPress you’re using:
https://wordpress.org/support/forums
You’ll need to register a WordPress.org account before you’ll be able to post there – the admin login for your site won’t work there, nor will your WordPress.com account details.
