Can no longer access site due to ‘your connection is not private’
-
Hello!
I noticed my website had a ‘not secure’ when visiting my website. I googled this issue and found this forum topic (https://wordpress.org/support/topic/my-site-is-not-secure/) which suggesting adding a ‘s’ to my ‘http:’. As soon I tried this, I could no longer access my website or word press admin and now receive a privacy error whenever I go to my website or admin page. The error text is as follows:
Your connection is not private

Hi there!
I’m afraid that, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with A small orange.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com here:
You can look for help at the community forums here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
http://wordpress.org/support/ is also a great resource for sites using the open-source WordPress.org software.
