Can No Longer Edit Blogs

Once a blog is posted, my partner can edit it but I no longer can. I’ve tried a variety of methods from clicking on the front page edit to going into My Site and clicking edit buttons there. But whenever I hit ‘edit’ I get the blog title only and the rest of the page is blank. Please help!

Hi again, Try logging out of WordPress.com and then clearing your browser’s cache and cookies (which will also log you out of every other site you are logged in to). Then shut down your browser, open it again and log back in.

Hi @totallytigersblog, that’s a bit tricky, but I’ll bet we can figure this out together.
– Did this problem start recently? If so can you send more details?
– If you use a different browser altogether, does it work?
– Can you check your browser for extensions (like an ad blocker) or script-blocking settings to see if one of those is causing trouble?

Hi, it started fairly recently. At first, it was a day here and there. Then eventually it happened all the time.
With Firefox, I did remove the adblock awhile ago and it didn’t help. Not sure what you mean by script-blocking settings.
Just now, I used Microsoft Edge and it presented the entire page and allowed me to edit.
Then, I returned to Firefox and it also, for the first time in a long time, allowed me to edit as well.
Any ideas as to what was causing the problem and how I can avoid it in the future? TIA.

It’s almost always cache, an extension, or a security setting that’s blocking scripts.
Since it’s intermittent, I’m guessing cache. When you clear your cache are you clearing all of it?
