Can no longer edit/shorten my permalink
-
On old editor (which I much preferred and can no longer find a way to even switch back to) I was able to edit/shorten my permalink for a post, so that if I give a post a long title, I don’t have to have the whole thing in an unwieldy URL. Cannot see any way to do this on new set-up. Permalink I want to edit/shorten is: https://pigsquash.wordpress.com/2015/05/14/sharing-the-fire-uncivilisation-gathering-on-vancouver-island-aug-2015/
Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. You can still edit the post slug in the new editor. I think it’s now hidden under the advanced options, but I’m not sure as I never use that editor.
The old editor still exists, though. They’ve only removed the link to it from the new editor. You can find it under Posts ->Add New in the WP-Admin dashboard (http://pigsquash.wordpress.com/wp-admin/)
I suggest you bookmark that link so you can easily find it in future. Another user has also written a user-script you can add to your browser that will automatically take you to the old editor when you click the New Post buttons. See here for more info: https://tpenguinltg.github.io/wpcom-edit-post-redirect.user.js/index.html

Thanks very much for this advice, kokkieh! This could solve a lot of problems for me. Would love to revert to “classic” editor.
best,
