Can no longer login, register, or reset passwords

I started a wordpress blog last night, hosted at a location such as http://www.myhost.com/astyler/
I have a domain registered, such as http://www.astyler.com/ which my DNS provider redirects to the hosting location.All was working, but this morning, I was unable to log in to the admin account on my website. Whatever password I enter, the login screen just comes back up (whether correct or incorrect), with no error shown. If I try to reset the password, I get no email.
I ssh’d to the machine and the database is up, I can inspect the wp_users table and everything seems fine.
I tried changing the password manually in the wp_users table with
update wp_users set user_pass='longmd5string' where user='admin'
the record updated, and I still can’t login with the corresponding password.The last thing I changed via FTP was I added (again a fake url):
define('wp_home','http://www.astyler.com')
to wp-config.php. I’ve since removed this line an have no luck.
The last thing I changed via /wp-admin was the WordPress Site URL to ‘http://www.astyler.com’, again, in an attempt to cloak the hosting
Any help would be appreciated. -

Yes, I meant for a wordpress.org installation. I fear our problems are different. Either way you should not post your password online!
