can no longer upload multiple photos

  Hi guys.
  Just looking for a bit of help here.
  For some reason I can no longer upload multiple photos to our blog.
  It has always worked seamlessly but now it is a simple case of when i hold down ctrl like i used to and left click the photos it wont let me choose anymore than one.
  Not sure why it has started doing this but i dont have time to click each individual photo and wait for it to go.
  I could just select them all before and walk away for a while.
  Any help would be great.

  Are you using the brower uploader (1 file at a time) or the flash uploader (select multiple files)? Below the button where you upload you should see one of these statements:

  You are using the Browser uploader. Try the Flash uploader instead.

  or

  You are using the Flash uploader. Problems? Try the Browser uploader instead..

  (I accidently set mine to the browser uploader the other day and it took me a minute what looked different about the upload screen…)

  I can’t upload either…just started happening this morning. It won’t let me do the multiple download or one by one download. It says “Sorry, you have used your upload quota.” even though I haven’t downloaded anything. Help!

  You could be out of space on your upload quota:
  One of your images is 4608 x 3072 and 3.7MG. That is HUGE!
  There is no point in publishing such a huge file for the web where images appear at a 72 px resolution.
  You must compress your images before publishing them for two reasons:
  1. your site takes forever to load, and I have a relatively fast connection
  2. you waste a lot of file space, and I’m betting your quota of storage is full.

  I tried to optimize/compress using Picasa and it still does not work.

  I have this message before I even begin trying to upload anything. “3.0 GB used, (-0.0%) upload space remaining.”

  If my quota for storage is full, how do I fix that?

  You could upgrade your storage space with a paid upgrade:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/space-upgrade/
  (note that you must pay every year to maintain the upgrade)

  Or you could go back and compress the images, and upload them, then put them back into your posts.

  Or you could start another blog with a fresh 3 GB storage space and then upload properly optimized images…

  Photoshop, Elements, or Google for an online image editing program. I don’t know Picasa but maybe another volunteer could advise on its ins and outs.

  Thanks for help guys.
  Note I am not over my quota and am trying to upload like I always have I think.
  Will check again on what uploader I am using.
