Can non-WordPress readers "like" articles?

  Basic question I guess….if you have visitors to your blog that are NOT wordpress.com blog owners…what happens when they click the like button? Will it still record it? Ask them to signup to wordpress.com first?

  I have a lot of people who don’t blog that I direct to my own, and it would be nice if they are still recorded when they hit the like button.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Unfortunately, that Support doc doesn’t really address the question asked.

  When a non-logged in member of WordPress.com clicks to Like a post, they are directed to the WordPress.com log-in page where they can either log-in to their WordPress.com account or register for the site.

  In short, “Likes” are available only to logged-in WordPress.com members.
