Can not access dashboard after enable HTTPS or SSL
-
Hi, I enabled my blog with “Always use HTTPS when visiting administration pages.” as http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2008/09/16/protect-your-blog-with-ssl/ shows, but unfortunately I can not access my dashboard anyway. The link shows https://robotersoong.wordpress.com/wp-admin/, but I can not view anything. The browser shows “The connection to robotersoong.wordpress.com was interrupted.”
What can I do? Thank you. How can I set my blog to default?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Have you tried clearing your browser’s cache and cookies? http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/
In case that doesn’t resolve your issue, I’ve tagged this thread for support. Even though they are away until the 29th, they are monitoring the forums. So please post back if your problem is resolved.

Thank you justjennifer. I have tried that on my PC and tried some others’ PCs, but unfortunately it does not work this time. I installed Chrome and IE9, the same problem which indicating the problem is not concerning the browser.
Furthermore, I recreated another blog, http://www.iroboter.com, using WP. I want to delete robotersoong.wordpress.com, set it private, or empty the articles. I can not log into the Dashboard, however, I can access my WP account. I do not know what can I do next.

It shows like:
The webpage at https://robotersoong.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.
Error 15 (net::ERR_SOCKET_NOT_CONNECTED): Unknown error.

The version of Chrome you mentioned is a developer’s version, not the stable version.
Can you try with a different browser?
-
Above solution should work for it too. Download your favorite browser from http://browsehappy.com

I hope so, but seam that does not work, either. I tried Chrome 12 (Stable one) on my friends’ PCs. *_* I guess this is another “special problem” in my country.
Additionally, could I contact the manager to delete the blog? Or ask him/her to set my setting to default?

@robotersoong-If you still haven’t been able to solve your problem getting into your Dashboard, please contact Support directly as they have returned. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/
Write anything in the search box, and when it asks if you have found your answer, click no and the contact form will open.

You are welcome and I am sorry you had to wait until Support returned.
