Can not access my about page

  I keep getting a server error when I click on any link to my “about” page be it on the blog or in my dash board. Here is the link to the page:

  My other page works. I’m not sure what I may have done.

  Anyone got any ideas?

  Here’s what the error says:
  “Server Error The website encountered an error while retrieving http://schadenfreudecomic.wordpress.com/about/. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.”

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  I tried adding a page on a test blog using the information from your page, and lo: I get the same exact error. So I started at the bottom, and removing the images makes the page re-appear.

  Could you try removing the images from your page and then re-adding them through the Add Media button one more time and see what happens?

  Well I started the process you suggested. As soon as I hit the update button after reading the image via the Add Media button I received the following error:

  “The website encountered an error while retrieving http://schadenfreudecomic.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.”

  I have a hunch that spacing might be an issue with the template I am using. I shall try again placing the image differently.

  Ok so my hunch didn’t get me very far. I got the same error message again.

  I’m going to attempt this on a new page.

  It seems that the pages are not able to support the use of any kind of image… which is kinda odd. I don’t remember the template saying anything about that kind of restriction.

  Any ideas?

  This error seems to have become more of an issue with my blog. I can’t post any images even if I am making a new post. An error like the others appears now when I attempt to do so:

  “Server error
  The website encountered an error while retrieving http://schadenfreudecomic.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.”

  I’m going to try this out on firefox and safari to see if this is just a Google Chrome issue. I have a sicking feeling that this is a wordPress issue, and that changing my browser will not solve the error.

  This error is occurring in all of the above bowers and on all of my new posts or pages. An example is the following:

  http://schadenfreudecomic.wordpress.com/2013/02/08/ancient-history/

  Even when using old images that I have already posted I get the Following error:

  “Server error
  The website encountered an error while retrieving http://schadenfreudecomic.wordpress.com/2013/02/08/ancient-history/. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.”

  I have changed the date of the post which is linked to above so that any followers to the comic don’t get an error message when they go to see if its been updated.

  I hope they will timethief. I’d hate to have to leave WordPress for another blogging site when this one was working so well.

  Staff are extremely busy but many bloggers don’t get that because they think all Staff do is answer threads here on this forum but that’s not the case at all. I tagged this thread again and that’s the most I can do for you.

  Hi again,

  I checked the size of the image, and it’s super, super big. I saw it at 600dpi and 10×14 inches. When I tried with a version sized to 96dpi, it worked great on my test blog!

  Could you try resizing the image to a max of 150dpi (resolution) and see if you can get better results?

  I had the same problem after upgrading to a Premium Theme recently. I reverted to old theme. Now my latest post not showing on other sites. Can anyone tell me why? Do I need to do anything or is it just a technical glitch?

  Zndyring, if that was the case then my other smaller images that I have already posted should also be able to be reposted. I can’t post any image of any size.

  And Beekim, if your not paying for a Premium account you can’t use the Premium Themes… If you are then I can’t help you with that one…
