Can not access my home ‘page’ for editing

    I am trying to edit/create a static home page. When I go to ‘PAGES’, the home page which does appear on the site, is not included in the list of pages I currently have therefore, unable to do any additions or edits. The ‘HOME’ tab does appear on the site but not in my list under PAGES. Can someone give me a helping hand? Thanks
