Can not access my site – or my admin site

    Site says: ‘There has been a critical error on this website.’
    Admin Site says: ‘There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.’

    Email says: ‘ your site appears broken and you can’t access your dashboard normally, WordPress now has a special ‘recovery mode’. This lets you safely login to your dashboard and investigate further.’

    Following the ‘recovery mode’ link gives: ‘Recovery Mode not initialized.

    I’m totally blocked out – can’t get in to do anything. Any ideas?

    I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

    That error indicates you’re using the open source version of WordPress, made over on WordPress.org.
