Can not add menu items in WordPress.

Hello guys!
I have been trying to resolve the issue by trial and error for several days, but it looks like I definitely need some help.
I’ve created several pages, but none of them appears in the wordpress menu section. The section is generally blank. It just says ‘no items’. There are no ‘Most recent’, ‘View all’ and ‘Search’, just nothing.
When I create menu on my theme Ashley and press ‘Publish’ there, then the menu appears on wordpress also, but each navigational label is doubled.
It looks like a glitch to me. Does anybody have an idea how to fix it?

I don’t see a theme called Ashley here at WordPress.com. What is the address of your site and is it hosted here? If it is hosted elsewhere and using the WordPress.org software you need to approach the correct support forum https://wordpress.org/support/
or even the developer of your theme. -

Thank you for commenting on my post. Sorry, I misspelt the theme’s name. It is Ashe Theme by WP Royal.
