Can not add paypal link to blog after a MILLION tries!

  Help!
  I have had no problems creating my business button and html code on Paypal, but when I add it as a widget (as instructed) on my blog, nothing happens. I have no idea what to do differently.

  The instructions for posting a PayPal button for WordPress.com blogs are found here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/ Are those the instructions you have been using?

  I had found intstructions telling me to copy the html code into a text widget (?) on the footer. BUT, happy news! I just found instructions on how to add it to a post (not html code) and it worked! Thanks!
