can not connect to webiste
-
Hi I created my own website (imziyue.com)
And after I found ‘This site cannot be accessed’, I tried to disconnect from jetpack.
And now I cannot find my website anymore. And when I tried to reconnect my website, it start to charge money. -
Hi imziyue,
There isn’t currently a working Jetpack connection for imziyue.com. Are you following these steps for connecting the site to WordPress.com?
If you are continually seeing an error, the Jetpack support team will be the best people to contact for further help with troubleshooting:
And when I tried to reconnect my website, it start to charge money.
There are free and paid Jetpack plans — you should be able to connect using the Free plan :)

Now I just got the page ‘You don’t have any WordPress sites yet.’ after I disconnect with jetpack. And when I try to connect with my website ‘imziyue.com’, it says I have to choose a plat (which start from $5 per month)

Hi imziyue,
it says I have to choose a plat (which start from $5 per month)
There should be a
Start with freebutton underneath the three paid plans, can you see that when setting up? I’ve made a screenshot so you can see what to look for: -
I uploaded my problem in this gdoc:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1IF1RWZrWrvG_T6Hiuncxm88Ozs6PZnyq/view?usp=sharing
It shows no option for jetpack
-
Thanks for the screenshots, I can see what the problem is now. You are creating a brand new WordPress.com site rather than connecting imziyue.com to your WordPress.com account using Jetpack.
Please try following these steps:
- Install the Jetpack plugin on imziyue.com
- Go to the Plugins page at http://imziyue.com/wp-admin/plugins.php
- Click Activate next to Jetpack
- Click the Set up Jetpack button
- Approve the connection to your WordPress.com account
You can then work through the setup questions and select the free plan, or skip the questions for now (the free plan will be used by default).
Once you’ve done that, imziyue.com should be connected to your WordPress.com account and listed under My Sites.
I hope this helps.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply!
I still got problems here:1. When I went to the website in step2, I could not sign in with my current wordpress account. (Which works when I sign in on wordpress.org)
2. I found another website https://wordpress.com/jetpack/connect/store
which shows the page in your previous reply (with a ‘start with free’ option)
however after I typing my website it shows nothing. -
Hi imziyue,

Do you mean you were unable to login to the directly from http://imziyue.com/wp-admin/ and then navigate to the Plugins area on the left? If you have forgotten the password for that account, please try using the “Lost your password?” link on the login page.
however after I typing my website it shows nothing.
If you follow the steps I listed above, you shouldn’t need to manually type a site address — only connect to WordPress.com after activating Jetpack.
Can you confirm you have followed the steps exactly as I listed them above?

I cannot log in http://imziyue.com/wp-admin/ using my account (it says Invalid email address.) but it works on https://wordpress.com

Hi there,
If you are logged into WordPress.com, you can go to this following link and add your site to the Jetpack field on the right to connect the plugin to your site:
https://wordpress.com/jetpack/new?ref=calypso-selector
Let me know if that works for you.

I cannot log in on https://wordpress.com/jetpack/connect/install with my wordpress account.

Hi there,

Your site’s password is different than your WordPress.com password. To recover access to your site please contact your hosting provider or follow these instructions:
https://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
After recovering access to your site you’ll be able to connect it via Jetpack to your WordPress.com account.
