Can Not Customize – white screen

I am a new user, when I try to customize my page I get a blank screen on the right pane and nothing to actually customize. I’m in my last 2 weeks of a college web design class over the internet and I need this to work to complete my last 4 questions. I’m really hoping someone can help me out quickly. I am using the twenty nineteen theme with no plugins enabled. I have cleared my browser cache, and history. I’m not sure what else to check. I know the first post said not to panic, but I kind of am so for that I’m sorry. Thanks in advance.
