Can not edit the published blog and can not save changes

    Hi community, my site is smuleindiablog.wordpress.com. The posts from last week after making corrections can not edit or save anything. The edit page is so buggy it moves the embedded videos move randomly with empty spaces. At the latest i can not even get my cursor to move down. Need some immediate help. Thanks guys for the help

    I tried both firefox and chrome
    the behavior is like this
    after edit a page click update do show saving and if you close after saving the
    popup message says you have unsaved changes and ask you want to quit or cancel
    Saving after each change and

    Also in my pages i embed youtube videos and text
    if i edit everything the way i want things to look like when published
    the the final version after publishing show a random space between the text and the video. Edit again and save it as many times as 10 times did not fetch any results

    Surprisingly if i change my publication date to an earlier date and save it and publish saved the work successfully and that is how i survived this week
    Would really like some help with this

    That is a known problem, and has nothing to do with whether or not your content actually saved. That message sometimes show even if everything saved correctly, so if you clicked Save and it changes to “Saved”, or you’ve clicked the Update button on a published post and it shows you the confirmation that the post has been updated, then it has saved and you can just ignore that message.

    Can you please give a link to a post where this has happened? It sounds like a non-breaking space might be getting inserted in the HTML – switch to the HTML view and see if you notice the text & nbsp ; (without spaces) on its own line under the video embed code. Delete that, switch back to visual and update, and the space should be gone in the published post.

    To be honest this page i did not check at that time to see if there was any such breaking space was left unedited.
    It is most likely is the case since i pasted the write up content from an email body text
    The page link is up there anyway for you to see.

    @ppadayatti thanks for including the link. The layout on this page seems normal on my browser. Were you able to resolve this the rest of the way on your own?
