can not find setting to enable markdown on my blog at www.wordpress.com

i tried to enable markdown on wordpress.com itself as explained at https://en.support.wordpress.com/can-i-use-markdown-on-wordpress-com/
But i do not find any relevant setting for enabling markdown at Settings->Writing and Settings->Discussion, as was mentioned in the above link
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

These options are available only on the classic Dashboard.
