Can not link my instagram with wordpress

  Hello. I have been trying since long to link my instagram with wordpress but it is not happening. I dont understand what the issue is. Kindly help

  @bookspied – so I am sure what you are asking for, do you mean link it like create a link on the WordPress page that takes people to your Instagram page or do you mean to use some process to pull images from your Instagram and show on the WordPress page?

  I asked 2 options, not sure which you mean.

  Are you trying to:

  1. create a link on the WordPress page that takes people to your Instagram page

  or

  2. use some process to pull images from your Instagram and show on the WordPress page

  1. If you are trying to add the Instagram widget to the footer of your site,
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/instagram/instagram-widget/

  Here’s the instructions from inside the widget:
  Important: You must first click Publish to activate this widget before connecting your account. After saving the widget, click the button below to authorize your Instagram account.

  So after you’ve added the widget, first click the blue Publish button at the top of the column in the Customizer. If that button says anything other than Publish, then click the gear icon next to it and select “Publish.”

  Once you’ve clicked Publish to add the widget then you can authorize and configure the widget. Make sure you are logged in to Instagram first.

  2. If you want to embed your Instagram posts in your website, you can follow our guide to doing that here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/instagram/instagram-images/

  Kindly note that Dyad2 https://wordpress.com/theme/dyad-2 the theme you are using, makes use of featured images on your posts and those images need to be uploaded to your site’s Media Library for them to appear on your site. More on that here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/

  I apologise for not clarifying before. I have been trying since long to pull the instagram posts on my wordpress page. Basically use the instagram widget. If i try to customise it just gets refreshed and the result is zero always.

  Hello again, I do not currently see that widget on your site’s footer. I see the Follow Blog widget, Blog Stats, Archives, and Goodreads.

  Please add it back to the footer following the #1 instructions above and if it still doesn’t show, leave it in the footer and let us know so we can try to troubleshoot it.
