can not pay with paypal

  I am trying to pay with my paypal balance and it insists that I add a credit card to make the payment which I do not want to do.

  Paypal is insisting that you add a credit card? Or the WordPress.com system is insisting?

  it is had to tell. It seems like both. I have an adequate paypal balance and I never have trouble paying other people, only wordpress.

  Would it be possible to send me a screenshot of the screen where you are seeing the “must add a credit card” notice? If there is any banking type information on there, you could either blur or black it out.
