  When I try and post to a page on my blog I can not type to post anything. Can not post a new post either. help

  Hello, I am sorry about this. I am glad you were are able to post in the support forum, so I can help you. Could you please provide more information about what happens when you attempt logging in and posting? Do you see an error message, or just a blank screen? Does it happen on all computers/networks you use? If you are experiencing issues when using your work network, it is possible that your IT department has set up a block on WordPress.com – it would be useful checking it with them.

  I can do a quick post on my blog but am unable to work from the dashboard to edit my pages. I can not get the cursor to appear in the text box. Several other teachers at my school who have blogs on wordpress are experiencing the same problem. I do not get an error message I am just unable to type in the box. I am using Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. It happens on all the computers I have been using at work. Have not checked to see if it happens at home. Will try tonight. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  It could be some sort of block on the school’s network. Sadly, it’s not uncommon, especially if they already block Facebook and such.

  Please let us know how it goes from home, and which versions of the browsers you are using.

  I am experiencing the same problem at home. I still cannot edit a page. I am using Firefox at home. Thank you for your help. I don’t think there is a block on our network as another teacher was able to post and edit posts on their wordpress blog.

  Just checked my blog and I am now able to post and edit pages. Not sure what the problem was but it seems to be fixed. I will check with the other teachers and see if they are able to edit posts as well.
