Can not remove "uncategorized" category with new editor.

  Can not remove “uncategorized” category with new editor.

  I’m going through & re-categorizing some posts using your new editor. They default to “uncategorized” when nothing is added during the original creation. Using the new editor I tried to change the category (checked the new box, old one was no longer checked,) then updated the post.

  A few minutes passed, cache & cookies cleared, & the “uncategorized” is still showing up on my post.

  If I revert back to the old editor it updates immediately.

  I was able to confirm it was happening on the most up to date chrome/ff.

  Hi there,

  Sorry about that! Our team just finished up a few fixes to categories in the new editor. Can you please try updating the category on your post again and see if this problem continues?
