can not upload my Video
-
Hi there,
After I paid the upgrade, I uploaded my Video (around 40 megs) but it was cut short about 1-2 minutes during the upload.. it says the server is too slow to respond ( I am using firefox BTW), but it is not a problem if you upload MP3 (around 8 megs) I know that the file limit to be uploaded is around 90 megs.
Any idea why
Thank you
my blog is http://www.vidinur.com -
You’re not alone….Perhaps others who paid for the upgrade aren’t experiencing any problems, but so far I’ve found the process of uploading video after the space upgrade to be, shall we say, a hit-and-miss proposition. Very, very frustrating. And as I’ve indicated elsewhere, when the upload was successful, the quality of the WP video that I ended up with was not great (to put it mildly). Maybe after I play around with it a bit more I’ll end up with better results. But for now, I’m just glad I only bought a 1 Gig upgrade and not more.

While I’m thinking about it, your image in this post is broken. Tripod doesn’t allow hotlinking.
Best bet would be to send in a feedback with specifics to staff and let them take a look at the issue. We can’t help you here in the forums as the volenteers here don’t have backend access.
I know you link to your blog but you don’t give any examples of this. Care to?

Didn’t have any problem uploading the video, but…. am looking for the syntax of the short code to use. Can anyone help?
BTW, voted, and made sure my pets did as well… -
What “short code”? Do you mean the WordPress.com player? That’s here:

The 123 is the particular identification number for your video. w=250 indicates how wide the video image will be in your post (you can change that).

Thx! Found id in Link to Page info. So [video 264 w=300] should work, right? Don’t see anything in the Preview mode… I uploaded about 2 hrs ago…
