Can one only have one location for posts per blog?

I’m using my wordpress site as a conference website with a static front page and have created various ‘pages’ to cover different aspects. Although some of these contain static infomation, and therefore are well served by a page format, I also have several that need to be constantly updated with new information. I had assumed that I would be able to run several of these segments of my site like a blog – i.e. be able to use them as the base for placing sequential posts delivered in a variety of formats. However I only seem to be able to do this on one of my created pages – though they are all set up exactly the same, just with different titles.

Is there something I should/can be doing so that I can run what amounts to a series of ‘blogs’ in parallel within the one site or is this simply not possible? I don’t really want to just keep adding as though it were static content because I want to be able to use the quick post modes and also make full use of the different posting types available to me.

Similarly I don’t simply want to put all this constantly updating content on a single page because I need to keep accessibility to the different arenas of information quick and easy – especially as many people are accessing via phones or other smaller devices.

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Sorry – wrong info got in there somehow!
The blog I need help with is actually http://irasconference.com/

And what I need to be able to do is set more than one page as a blog page – but there just doesn’t seem to be any way of doing this.
