Can only see certain changes when Pages Published

    Hi Everyone,

    So far I’m noticing that many changes to my pages only show up when the pages are published. An example is that I can only make a Navigation Bar for the site while the pages are Published. When I switch the pages to Private The Navigation Bar no longer exists. Right now I’m focused on making static websites. So I’m trying to design simple sites completely before they are published. I don’t want to publish sites while I’m still designing them. Is there any way to continuously update pages and see the current results while they are still private? Thanks

    And I’m not sure if the problem described below is part of the same issue or something else but I’m having the problem described below as well.
    I’ve tried to Reorder Menu Items in my Navigation Bar. But it’s not working. My theme supports Full Site Editing with Blocks. When I go to
    Appearance
    Customize
    Menus
    Primary Navigation
    THE MENUS LOOKS LIKE THIS
    Contact (Invalid)
    About Us (Invalid)
    and cannot be Reordered. And the Home Page does not show up in the Menu Items. When I click the Reorder button the items don’t reorder. Drag and Drop doesn’t reorder them either.
    How can I fix this so that the items can be reordered?

    Hi there,

    Because your theme supports editing the menu in the site editor, it can behave a little oddly when try to manage menus in both systems. These issues have been reported to the appropriate dev teams, but for the time being the issue is that if you have modified the menu within the site editor, it breaks the connection to the legacy menu manager in the site customizer.

    To proceed with managing menus on your site you will need to stick to editing the navigation block in the site editor only.

    We are happy to update you on this issue when we have more info but at this time there is not a way to work with menus in the customizer, which is why you are seeing the odd results that you have reported there.
