Can order of posts be changed in Triton Lite?
-
Hello. I am using Triton Lite, which I love, and I am trying to figure out if I can change the order of the posts or if it is set. If anyone can provide an answer, I would appreciate it. Thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Posts in blogs are displayed in reverse chronological order with the most recent posts on top in accord with the datestamps. http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-title-url/ That cannot be changed and if you start editing datestamps on posts that have already been indexed by search engines then you will create “404 (page not found)” errors. Avoid creating 404 pages

Hi Timethief. Thank you so much for your response. That’s too bad about not being able to change the order of the posts. I am trying to create more of a webpage with a bunch of posts on the front page, and I would love for them to even randomly scramble sometimes.

The main difference between a blog and website is the communication style. A website has a noticeboard communication style. A blog is a website designed for interactive communication. Collectively blogs create the blogosphere, while websites are stand alone islands. Blogs are essentially a reverse chronlogical publishing tool. We can retain the post based structure or we can restructure any WordPress blog to become page based structures as a website is. http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/ Creating a page based structure (website) with a static front page is a traffic killing choice.

However, the order in which the posts display cannot be changed. -
