Can Others See My Media Library?
-
In the Administrator interface, I have a Media Library where I can upload images. To the extent that these images are accessed by simple numeric integers in a very simple URL structure, does that mean anyone has the ability to view these simply by interating through URLs with different ?attachment_id=N arguments with N=1 to YYY?
When I create a new image post for my blog, this is implemented by uploading the image to the library, and then the blog post has as its URL for the image something pointing to the shared copy in the Media Library? Just trying to understand the basic theory of how images work around here.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can name your images anything you like; your images don’t need to be named by the number your camera assigns. If you give your pictures descriptive names and perhaps plus numbers, then it will be more difficult is there would ever be anyone interested in “spying” on your pictures.

Sorry raincoaster,
but I cannot find it either. it is not in the spam folder and if I look at “edit” there is nothing more. weird.
