Can portfolio project link directly to external sites?

    Hi, I’ve used the Illustratr theme to make a nice-looking portfolio page at samwongblog.wordpress.com. I would like each project in the portfolio to link directly to articles on other sites. I’ve selected the “link” format for each one and inserted the link into the content area, but this doesn’t seem to work – the projects in the portfolio still link to subpages in my WordPress site. Is there a way to make this work?

    Secondly, is it possible to rearrange the projects on the portfolio page? Currently they just appear in the order I created them.

    I have the exact same issue. Previously used Goran theme, now Argent. Looking to also link out portfolio projects to external sites to showcase article and blog posts I’ve written. Looking for something like this: http://www.gregoryfca.com/media-relations-firm/

    Hope this can get resolved. Has become a major pain.
