Can posts accessed thru 3rd party sites be seen whole or with a 'more'?

  When I click on the icon for WordPress while I am on my AboutMe page (and on other entrance points) , I only get the first few sentences of the blog post that I wrote – but it does not indicate that there is more to the blog post. Is there a way that I can get the full blog to appear, or at least the notation, like ‘(more)’, so that the reader knows that if they click on the partial post, there is more? I am not asking to split my posts on my own blog as I write them. that is a different issue.
