  If you deleted the “closed blog” then you will not be able to re-use the url again. WordPress.com does not recycle blog names (urls):

  You could use a variation of the name:
  add a number before or after it
  change a letter like “i” to a “1,” or an “E” to a “3”…
  or you could purchase a domain upgrade (if the name is still available):

  Register a New Domain

  Thanks can I publish my old post from the previous blog? Also can I use old blog name? My blog still appears in my WordPress app with the blogs. Or is there a way transfer blog to new blog?
