Can RSS feed links be set to open in a new window?

    Hello, I’m new here. I’ve looked for the answer to this question in the Help section and by doing a forum search, but couldn’t find anything.

    I figured out how to get regular (blogroll) links to open in a separate window/tab by using the “target” setting. But I can’t find a similar setting for the links that come through in the RSS feeds; they are all currently opening in the same window as my blog, which I’d rather not have. Is there a way to change this?

    I’ve never worked with RSS feeds before, so maybe this isn’t possible. But it would be nice.

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    @Maregaret
    I’m sorry but I cannot find a way to do this. In the support documentation this is what I find. http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/rss-widget/

    Thanks for checking for me; that’s pretty much what I thought, but I wasn’t sure if I was just missing something.

    I have one other question about the items that show in the RSS feeds; can they be set to display images, or just text? I’ve set up a feed of the “I Can Has Cheezburger” site and would like to see the actual picture (just one) show up, but nothing I’ve tried does that. All I get is the title of the picture, which is sometimes truncated because it’s based on the caption – which can be quite long.

    Our RSS feeds are not configurable to that degree here, nor is the RSS widget.
