Can Sibebars widgets be removed from BLOG Posts

    I figured out how to go into each page and display full width – no sidebar but on my BLOG page and on each blog post the sidebar exists and I’d like to remove it.
    I like that the sidebar is on the Home page but that’s the only place I want it at this time.
    Also – Widget Context -is that available to me as a plugin? I don’t see it listed so I’m guessing it is not! Is there any other widget available to me that would give me control of the sidebar on the blog posts or my blog page(the blog page acts like the tab on the menu where all blog posts are then categorized underneath the BLOG tab).
