Can somebody please explain these to me

    Hi guys,I would like to purchase wordpress. I am interested in buying the premium plan at $8 per month. As I am a layman I wanted to confirm a few things before I went ahead. Firstly, if one pays for the entire year upfront, is there a discount, and if so, how much? Secondly, if one wanted to upgrade during this period, how would this discount work if I had already paid a year’s subscription before for a lesser plan. Thirdly,I would obviously like the 30 day free trial. I tried logging in to wordpress a few years ago with my e-mail ((email visible only to moderators and staff)), and it seems you guys still have me on your system, so does this mean I still have access to the free trial period?And what about ‘plugins’, which it seems are so vital- does the $8 provide for these?

    If you decide to upgrade plan in the middle of having another plan, you’ll see an upgrade discount while checking out if you’re eligible: http://store.wordpress.com/plans

    Everything will be prorated based on the price difference between plans and the remaining months you have in your monthly subscription.

    And what about ‘plugins’, which it seems are so vital- does the $8 provide for these?

    In all plans, WordPress.com provides built-in plugins functionality.

    In addition to that, you can currently install other plugins only in WordPress.com Business and the eCommerce plan.

    All of our plans are sold up-front for a year, we don’t offer any other payment option.
