Can someone help me change my site's URL to one I registered with GoDaddy.com?

  I am trying to change my wordpress site’s url from http://nasionaonline.wordpress.com/ to nasiona.us. I have registered/purchased nasiona.us from GoDaddy.com. I have also purchased a Domain Upgrade for $13 from WordPress. I have no idea what to do next. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Although nasiona.us has been registered, it is not using WordPress.com nameservers. If you wish to host your site at WordPress.com, you will need to update your nameservers as outlined below.

  If you would like to use your domain name purchased elsewhere and map from your free hosted wordpress.com blog to it, then you will first need to set up domain mapping. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  After you make the domain mapping purchase here > Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades and do the primary blog set up it can take between 24 – 72 hours for domain name propagation to take place throughout the internet. You can view the DNS changes here > http://www.whatsmydns.net/ What’s important during that stage is to be patient.

  Thank you. I now have a different problem.

  I effectively did the domain mapping purchase and followed the instructions. The primary domain for my blog is now nasiona.us.

  However, anytime I go to the page it now takes me to GoDaddy.com and to where it is parked for free. Did I do something wrong? Why can’t I go into my WordPress dashboard now to work on my site?

  Why is the blog here private? http://nasiona.us/
  Change it to public and leave it that way.

  Thank you! I just made it public and it works.

  Now, if I wanted to sign in to my admin from a different computer, how would I get into my dashboard? nasiona.us/wp-admin?

  Ok, wait. Spoke too soon. It was working fine just a minute ago. Now I can’t do anything. I can’t get into admin nor does the page work even though I made it public. What do I do?

  It can take between 24 – 72 hours for domain name propagation to take place throughout the internet. During that time you will witness some back and forth URL switching. You can view the DNS changes here > http://www.whatsmydns.net/ What’s important during that stage is to be patient. I suggest you find something else to do for awhile until this all settles down.
