Can someone maybe recommend suggestions?

    I’m hoping someone might look at my (web/blog/WordPress (?) Deal and let me know if i should probably add something or alter anything? I have no idea what I’m doing but whatever it is, I’d like it appear well organized and aesthetically pleasing!! Hopefully.
    Did I miss something that’s relevant? Hope not. Thank you very much. Also I still don’t understand why I have a ‘home’ page as well as a ‘homepage’? What’s the diff??

    Wanted to sincerely thank anyone who read about my battle with methadone maintenance. I acknowledge that what I present isn’t well organized but it is from the heart. And every single word of my journey is true. 🙏

    Although I’m confused about something. Occasionally I’ll attempt to copy the link to my homepage and it doesn’t open the homepage rather it opens any comments that happen to be there. That’s not helpful. Meaning that I occasionally send the posts on WordPress along to someone who I hope may actually READ everything on the homepage table of contents! All thirteen posts. And it’s not only on the homepage that I have this issue with it’s essentially every time I click on the little globe that I assume is the actual site and attempt to share what I’m looking at it instead provides a link for the comments on the post rather than the actual post itself

    I just assumed that if I continued clicking the globe down on bottom that I’d eventually arrive to the actual site where my homepage table of contents was hanging out in cyber space. Evidently I’m mistaken?
    Can I realistically locate the actual link to the actual website or the blog that I’d like to send to folks?

    Correct, this is the URL or site address : https://majorityruhl.wordpress.com/ and that’s what you’ll copy + paste to send somebody and share the site in entirety, as a whole.

    If you have clicked on one of those individual segments on the site, then the URL changes to reflect that specific part of your site. For example, when I’m at your site, and I scroll down and click on reality check the URL in the address bar of my browser changes to reflect the address for that specific part of your site: https://majorityruhl.wordpress.com/2022/06/11/reality-check/ If I scroll to the end of that post, and then click on a link to one of the comments, it further details that in the URL at the top of your browser, like this: https://majorityruhl.wordpress.com/2022/06/11/reality-check/comment-page-1/#comment-7

    Everything looks to be working properly in this regard. Rest assured, that even if someone gets to your site through a comment link, like https://majorityruhl.wordpress.com/2022/06/11/reality-check/comment-page-1/#comment-7 that they can still navigate around the site and get to the front page where all your writing is.

    Thank you for your help. It’s critical that I’m able to send my posts since it’s all part of my legal agenda. Figured I usually get one opportunity to send something that is unlikely to be welcomed in the first place. That’s why I panicked.

    Any way someone can help me change my icon deal to a pic of myself that I wanted to display?? I’ve been trying and failing miserably. I added the photo to WordPress media but it doesn’t seem to want to stick.

    Are you wanting to change the avatar next to your posts? If so, you do that from your account page here:

    https://wordpress.com/me

    You can update your profile photo by moving your mouse over your current photo, and clicking “Click to change photo”. You’ll be prompted to upload (and crop if needed) a new photo.

    No I think I’m looking to add an icon picture next to my site’s name? It’s curreya gray weird shaped box next to the title. And whenever I click it it asks me if I’d like to add photo to the icon deal….
    Ps I honestly barely understand what the term avatar means so bear with me k

    Hi, you can add an icon next to your site’s title by editing your site’s Header template. We have a specific guide on how to do that:

    No no actually I’m still a bit confused. I think it’s because I’m unfamiliar with this option “header” so I’ll start by reading them watching. If it’s not sunk in after that I’ll return.

    Btw does anyone know what it means when it says

    Comments closed

    On a page or post(?) I desperately need feed back here! That’s not inviting!!

    Thank you, I’m not sure I entirely understand yet. Maybe it’s just me but I feel the WordPress forums could explain things in a more straight forward manner than what is currently available. Especially for someone as inept as myself!! Maybe?? Just idea
