Can someone please return me to Admin from Contributor?

I think I accidentally demoted myself from Admin of several blogs to either Author or Contributor while I was making a fake account with an alternate e-mail so I could create a guide for my contributors as to how to create an account. However, I accepted the request I sent myself while logged into my administrative account for my blog. I no longer have administrative control over my blogs. Is there any way around this? Can someone please help me get this fixed? Thanks in advance!

Hi umhsisp,
I looked at 3 of those blogs and the user umhsisp is an admin on all three, so I assume that’s true for the rest as well.
Is there one in particular you are having issues with? Why do you think you’re no longer the admin? (Are you in fact logged in as umhsisp rather than your dummy account?)

When you go to https://housingbureauforseniors.wordpress.com/wp-admin/, what do you see? Are you redirected to a different page or do you get an error message of some sort, or do you just get an abbreviated list of Dashboard options?

Yes I am logged in as the admin and I’m having trouble with every blog I listed above. Not sure if this is something I did or if it was a change on wp’s end. Either way, I need the dashboard back. Thanks!

I can see the blog but 75% of my admin tools that I had access to yesterday morning are missing. The gray dashboard header at the top is not there either. I’d send you a screenshot but I can’t paste it into this box for some reason.

Can you upload a screenshot to your media library for that blog, or if that’s not available to you, can you post it on a free image sharing service, dropbox, or something along those lines? I’m concerned because you are still listed as an administrator on that blog, but I can’t be sure what to suggest to fix it until I can see what you’re seeing.
