Hi there to all! Can someone please tell me how this javascript effect is done on this website? http://formatmag.com/index.php#
As you can see you can let the table of content disappear or show. I know or i guess it’s done with javascript. But can someone tell me exact how i can create the similar thing?

I’m not very geeky, so I hesitate to answer, but I see you have asked twice, so I’ll take a chance and tell you what I know. As I understand it, Javascript is not allowed on WordPress; the reason, I believe, has to do with security measures.

Hi there Shirley, thnxs for your reply. I’m not to sure if javascript isn’t supported in wordpress, cause i’ve found a template which also uses javascript. So i do think it will work. But how? haha, that remains the question…but thnxs for reacting!

User inputted javascripts are not allowed here at wp.com due to security concerns.
I have a feeling though that you’re hosted elsewhere. if that is so, then you’re running different software than we are here at wp.com. You need to be over at http://wordpress.org as you would be running different software than we are here and our answers would not apply.
Best bet would be to look at the source code and the javascripts yourself though.

And i was allready looking into the javascript of the page source. Now, i’m not very known with javascript, but i’ll have a look at it.
