Can someone simplify this process for me?

I currently have a website for my small business that was created in wordpress. (Not affiliated with this account).
The company that created the website and is currently hosting it is unreachable and unable to assist me in getting my site over to my own server.
As I understand it, it’s a very complicated process to keep my website as is, but get it over to my server. Is there any tutorials out there that can help me? Our website is everything to our business. I absolutely love it and am horrified over losing it!

The part about their host and move to their servers made me suspicious
