Deleted three other spam posts on the same topic. Please don’t do it again. You only need to post once (And read the threads that you post into as two of those threads did cover your question) and the volenteers will help you as soon as we can. Also please don’t shout (TYPE IN ALL CAPS) when you post. Both things are considered rude and will not be tolerated here or at most forum sites on the net.
The first question you need to answer is if you’ve purchased the CSS upgrade. Without that, you can’t modify any of the CSS.

CPers seem to need a lot of handholding at first; I’m guessing they’re very young. Hopefully they don’t mean to be rude.

Granted that some of these young people have dreadful spelling and lack an understanding of grammar but they don’t mean to be rude and I kind of like holding their hands. Although I really would like to convince them to ditch the text speak, I’ve made a couple of cool new penguin owning friends that I enjoy communicating with.
IMO they are looking for chat opportunities and we don’t have a chat forum. I notice the comments on their blogs are by and large “chat”. Mark says “think big” with good reason. Their blogs get so many hits and comments that they truly are “big”. They are frequently in the “top posts” and without doubt they are our future.
I myself consider the codex to be … shall we say dense and incomprehensible. I think it would be very cool if wordpress developed a youth orientated resources blog for penguin owners and other youth to use. -

http://www.clubpenguin.com/ Sure it is but it isn’t narrowly focused on how to set up your own blog using wordpress resources. It’s the wordpress “how-to” questions that they need some guidance with. Many penguin owners have been referred by a couple of peguin owners to one of my blogs and they do visit and find resources and use them.
They are a community within our larger blogging community and as foolswisdom noted there are many sub-communities in wordpress. I’m thinking that whatever investment we put into giving youth a hand with learning how to use wordpress technology will pay off over the long term by creating connectedness with the larger community. Some will stay long after they have outgrown the penguin game and maybe we will see them learning enough to give their peers a hand on the forum. But maybe I’m just an old softie when it comes to kids. -

@ eeeooouuuu she smells penguins and may be eats them too – YUCKO! Seals and sea lions and penguins eat fish. They smell of rotten fish when they open their mouths and vocalize. And, when they let go at the other end, well, then we’re talking about a “toxic cloud” that would gag every being on earth, other than a polar bear. :)

You cannot put colour or ice cubes in wordpress.com comment boxes unless you purchase a css customization upgrade and do the css coding yourself. There is no staff support for css customization and it’s not recommended for people who have no experience with css.
