Can suddenly no longer login?!

    Hello,

    Yesterday evening I was editing my website and all was well. All of a sudden my updates weren’t actually being carried out. I decided to reload the editor, but still my changes weren’t being published after hitting the publish-button. I then decided to close all browser windows, clear my cache, and try again. After doing that, I was logged out, and now I can no longer login to my website. I am 100% sure I have the correct username and password. However, even clicking the link to reset my password doesn’t help. After clicking on the reset-link in the email, I get to the page where I should be able to reset my password, but then it shows an error: the reset-link seems to be faulty. I can then try to retrieve a new reset-link. I have done this numerous times now, as well as trying to log in, from different browsers, different devices, in icognito mode, and I also tried disabling all plugins and deleting the .htaccess file through SFTP. Nothing works, I can’t get in, and I also cannot reset my password. Can you help me out? All I really want is to get back in to my dashboard so I can edit my website.

    Apologies, but we can’t help with your issue directly because we don’t host deoermoeder.nl on our WordPress.com managed hosting.

    To explain, we are a fully managed hosting provider and use a custom server environment that is optimized for WordPress, provides built-in security and performance improvements, as well as in-house support for your site questions.

    Because of the way we’ve optimized our service, we also use a customized version of WordPress that is different (under the hood) from what you use at Combell. As a result, we do not have access to your site and are not familiar with the source of your issue.

    You should reach out to your host Combell for help with this issue. Since they’re hosting your site’s files, they also have access to those files and are the best ones to help you regain access to your site.
