Can tabs be used to filter posts?

    I am making a new blog for my class and I’m wondering if the tabs can be used to filter posts instead of just sending you to a specific page. I want each class to have a different tab and if they click on it they get only the posts relevant to their own class (not each section that I teach as they would if they were on the Home page). I saw an example of this on a photo blog (not wordpress) http://www.momentaryawe.com/blog/ in case it’s not clear what I’m talking about. My theme is the ten twenty I believe. If my theme can’t do it but you know of another that can that would be great too.

    You do that with categories as long as you are using one of the newer themes that support the custom menus feature. You just add the categories to the top menu.

    The blog you reference is self-hosted. There is a lot that they can do that we can’t here. Still, what I mention above will do what you are asking.
