Can the auto-generated misspelling of my blog's name be corrected?
-
When I follow my own blog, a message shows up saying “You’re following johnbrookswritting blogposts.”
The only problem is, my blog’s name is misspelled in this message, with an extra “t” for the “writing” part of the name.
(In my blog’s URL and the name of my blog itself, “writing” is spelled correctly–with a single “t.”)
Why is this misspelling being automatically generated for this message? And is there any way to correct it?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. Please check under Settings ->Reading, the Follower Settings at the bottom. There you should see the email message that goes out when people follow your blog. If the mistake appears there, correct it and save. If it’s spelled correctly there as well, let us know.

You should be able to set the confirmation message via Settings > Reading from your dashboard.

Thank you both very much!
It wasn’t exactly the problem you were offering the answer to, but your responses led me to check the Appearance > Widgets page and, once there, the Follow Blog: Follow by Email Widget where I found the misspelling in the text I’d input for that widget’s sidebar message.
Many thanks! -
