Can the facebook widget be moved and resized?

Hi
Is it possible to remove the Facebook widget from the sidebar and place it to fill the area where the slideshow currently is at the top of the home page?

Hi
Sorry to post this question again. I thought it was resolved but my client insists they want the FB feed to be the most prominent item on the home page. It must be at the top of the column on the left. (I have removed the slideshow that was previously there.)
Any suggestions welcome.
Thanks so much. -
Hi Darryl, although we can physically do this using CSS, the code comes from Facebook for that widget and due to the way it is done, we can’t really change much on it. Secondly, the code we would have to use in order to do it would mean that the FB widget would have no relationship to the other elements in the page, meaning that it could, when the feed changes, overlap other content on the page. Also, we cannot change the width. The software actually controls the width based on the width of the widget area it is placed into and that width is inserted directly into the code so there is no way to override it.
That is the long way of saying, sorry, we cannot do this cleanly. At the top of the right sidebar is the best solution.

Thanks for the answer.
I believe one can adjust the widget on wordpress.org using the plugin below, so I will investigate switching to this option but it means becoming knowing a lot more about css and working with self-hosting..

I want to avoid self hosting.
can you confirm that if i stay on wordpress.com, but upgrade to a business plan, that i wil l be able to use the plugin at:

Darryl, yes you would be able to add that plugin with the Business Plan. Since the plugin is outside of our control, we cannot guarantee that it will work flawlessly, but I would expect that it would be fine.
