Can the late fee be waived for domain renewal

  • Unknown's avatar

I never received a notification that my domain was expiring and I thought I had recently completed the renewal process so I wasn’t expecting one. I’ve now realized that it expired last month. Is there any way to have the late fee waived since I was not notified of the approaching expiration in time? Thanks!

It looks like your domain ellaavedikian.com expired on 1/23/15. After a few weeks past the expiration date, we’re charged a late fee by the registrar to renew the domain. Unfortunately, we can’t waive the late fee.

There are two options moving forward:

    1. You can renew your domain here ($98 total):

    2. We can wait for your domain to fully expire, and you can try to register it again for the normal cost. This normally takes a total of 80 days past expiration (so 60ish more). During this time, the domain may be sold to someone else meaning you would no longer be able to register it.

Let me know how you would like to proceed!
