Can the "www" automatically be removed from an entered address?

I have two blogs. With one, tayloreconomicsbroadly.com, if a “www” is included at the start of the address, it automatically gets chopped off, and the site loads just fine. But with daybreakfarmmaine.com, if you include the www at the beginning of the address (www.daybreakfarmmaine.com), the www stays on there, and one gets a 404 error message rather than the blog site. I think the problem came about from trying to move to blog to another host, which I abandoned (and am now very happy with WordPress!). Sorry, I can’t figure out all the complex DNS stuff!

    Thanx!!!!!

    Hi there!

For some reason you had a custom CNAME record in your DNS settings. I’ve removed that as it’s not needed for your site.

It might take up to 48 hours for the DNS change to take effect. Let me know if you still have problems with the 404 error after that time period.
