Can they (the bloggers) see my email address?

    I want to ask if a blogger can see you’re email ad if you commented on his or her site (even though it is stated that it will not be published)? Because I had a misunderstanding with a blogger, I don’t want to make things worse, we were close friends and we really knew each other in real life (but not in his blog), I am afraid that he will know my true identity (since my email ad is already a clue for him) and bear a grudge on me…

    Yes.
    If you leave a comment they see:
    Your name
    The email you used when you left the comment
    The website address if you entered one
    Your IP

    If someone starts blogging that info then get in touch with Support and we will see what we can do.

    This level of information is typical across all WordPress blogs be they here at wordpress.com or elsewhere.
