Can this be fixed?
-
Went to this page http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/layout-issues/ and it ALMOST had the answer I was looking for re: my sidebar going to the bottom. As soon as I hit Step 4 the info was no longer relevant to me. My sidebar issue is not due to a few posts being messed up. ……Mine is a site-wide problem. It’s a good helppage I admit, and I commend the author…. BUT it doesn’t tell me how to fix my site-wide sidebar problem. And that makes me sad. I put in a Tweaky request-for-quote about 45 minutes ago.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Sorry about that. This is actually a bug in the theme — thanks for reporting it! I reported the bug to our team, and they will fix this up for you. Please let me know if you have any questions in the meantime. :)

Thanks Rachel (and “You’re welcome” too, I suppose. But I’m surprised by that answer … I really thought it was my fault, and still kind of think it’s my fault: See this: folder:

Hi Rachel. Update: A participant in the Google Helpouts program fixed the issue for me via a Googlel Hangout (well, it’s called a Google Helpout because it’s a pay-for-help thing). He sort of explained, but I can’t remember what he said. If you want insights into what he did, he gave me his email to give out. If you email me, I’ll provide. This ticket can be closed. Have a good weekend.

Hi there, thanks for following up about this. It looks like the bug I saw in your site’s theme was hiding the issue you were having on your site.
We fixed the bug I mentioned, and now I see the layout issue you were talking about (it’s still there on my end): https://cloudup.com/cIMWzIU6OPA
I see that you’re currently using this CSS:
#content { width: 75%; } #sidebar { width: 20%; margin-left: 25px; }However, your theme is currently using this CSS to set the content div’s width:
.flexible-width #content { width: 78.125%; }If you want that width to be 75%, you can replace your custom CSS with this CSS to fix that:
.flexible-width #content { width: 75%; } #sidebar { width: 20%; margin-left: 25px; }Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)
Also, you’re welcome to contact us here at WordPress.com or (if your questions are specifically about the CSS you’re using to customize your theme) post to the CSS Customization forum for help with your site. That way you don’t have to pay extra for someone else to help, unless you really want to. Cheers!
