Can visitors receive comment notifications?

    Can visitors receive email notifications of new comments after they post a comment, or does that require a plugin? I don’t have a self-hosted site.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    wordpress.com blogs do not have FTP access and they do not have plugins.

    You can set up what you want on this page in your wordpress.com blog > Settings > Discussion

    There: you will see these options that you can choose:

    Comment Reply Via Email ___ Enable sending comment replies via email
    Subscribe To Comments ___ Show a ‘subscribe to comments” option in the comment form
    Subscribe To Blog ___Show a ‘subscribe to blog’ option in the comment form

    Don’t forget to click “Save Changes” when you are done.
