Can we add Greek text in a page?
-
I need to add a phrase in Greek to a page. The text is fuzzy when added as an image, so I am hoping someone can help with inserting Greek characters. Maybe there is a plugin?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You should have no trouble with that, just type them in like you would anywhere else. :)
If it’s not working, what text are you trying to enter?

Thanks for responding. I used a Greek font that I found in MS-Word 2007, GreekFP Regular (TTF); but I had to copy and paste the text into NotePad firstly before being able to successfully copy & paste the Greek words into WordPress. It seems that WP does not support ALT codes.

WordPress is an HTML editor, whereas Microsoft Word is a proprietary RTF editor.
As such, we cannot guarantee that we’ll be able to “translate” everything pasted over from Microsoft Word.
We recommend writing posts in our own editor instead, and we have some extensive documentation available at https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/

Thanks for your kind response.
I did not mean to imply that I wanted to use a MS-Word font, although that would be nice; I merely mentioned how I got around the challenge, using MS-Word then a Text Editor before copy & paste into WP.
The link you provided took me to topics I had already perused: if they contain info about how to insert foreign characters, I must have missed it again.

Hi there,
The best way to paste foreign characters to WordPress.com (and all web apps in general) is to either type them directly by adding that language to your computer’s input sources or by using an online keyboard like this one:
