  Sorry if this is a duplicate post, I searched but couldn’t find my answer!

  Can we implement php scripts that we have written?

  I don’t think so because if Javascript is blocked then PHP/MySQL is pretty likely to be blocked.

  No, custom scripting is not allowed for security reasons.

  what if I host my blog on my own domain/server? would i be able to add php scripts or would I need to find a different blogging package?

  If you host your own blog using the software from wordpress.org, you can use php, javascript, iforms, or anything you want.
