Can we remove the white box on 1st page in Structure Theme

  I get this message when I post You can edit “Title of New Post?” and use featured images to add an image here. Inside a large white box in the middle of my 1st page. I do not always want nor have an image to post. If possible I would like just the new post to feature here, if not fine- I just do not want the white box.

  I recall clicking a button to have my recent posts featured, but that window is not coming up anywhere so I can correct this. Please help me!!!!!!!!

  Howdy,

  You can hide the most recent featured post under Appearance -> Theme Options in your dashboard.

  More help… How do I remove the white box? I really do not want to be tied to having to have an image for every post. It was not this way on the first ‘transfer’ of themes.
  I think I did something, would love to undo it.
  I will find the answer to this next ? once applied, but If I hide the post will it still appear in it’s catagory ‘Inside’ the blog?

  I can’t see the white box you’re referring to.

  Sorry I gave up on the Theme– changed back to Morning After– It is similar, Liked the layout of Structure a bit, better, but not worth the white box…. Thanks for the help.
